A Private Residence Reimagined for Mental Health Treatment

  • Palm Springs, California

Mental Wellness KS is a single-family home in a quiet Palm Springs neighborhood, adapted for residential mental health care. The setting is intentionally small so clients are not lost in a large, impersonal program. A consistent team can get to know each client, understand their treatment plan, and support the day-to-day work that happens between therapy sessions.

The house is part of the treatment experience. Clients sleep here, eat here, meet for group here, talk with staff here, and begin rebuilding routine here. The environment is calm, light, and residential because stability often depends on more than the therapy hour. It also depends on sleep, meals, structure, privacy, connection, and the feeling of being somewhere safe enough to do difficult work.

Learn About Residential Treatment

Why the setting matters

A Calm Environment Can Support the Work of Treatment

Residential mental health treatment is not only about removing someone from daily stress. It is about creating a setting where therapy, psychiatric support, group work, medication support when appropriate, family education, and daily structure can begin to hold.

For many clients, the environment itself becomes part of the reset. A smaller setting can reduce overwhelm. A consistent routine can support stability. A private home can feel less intimidating than a hospital. Shared spaces can help clients practice connection without being forced into a large institutional environment.

See the Space. Then Talk Through the Next Step.

Looking at photos of the facility can help you imagine what treatment may feel like, but the next step is a conversation. Admissions can help you understand whether residential mental health treatment, PHP, IOP, or another level of care may be appropriate.

You do not need to know the diagnosis or the right level of care before you call. Our team can talk through symptoms, safety, insurance, family concerns, and what treatment options may make sense.
